Knowing where to start in the field of drinks is difficult. Drop us a line here to let us guide you through the process, but here are some recommendations based on sessions we have run previously:
These sessions are a classic for good reason. Want to understand the basics of pairing food with beer, wine or spirits? Have some favourite foods that you want to try with different drinks? Want to understand the science behind tasting and pairing? Then this is for you.
Arguably the most fun and interactive evening you can have with a group online, just tell us what kind of things you like to drink and want to make, and we can devise a menu just for you then guide you through making them - very little equipment required! Got all the gear but no idea? We can do that too!
Have a friend who is a beer buff but would like to know more? Interested in trying something other than Strongbow but are afraid of the options? Tell us the styles you think you'd like to try and the level of detail you want and we will put a perfect evening together for you.
Interesting drinks don't just have to be about booze - there are so many good quality alcohol alternatives on the market nowadays, let us guide you through them.
This is perfect for those doing their WSET, CMS or Beer and Cider Academy qualifications who want some more detailed tuition from those who have been there and done that.

Thank you for running the wine tasting at AIG. It was one of the most fun things I've done since lockdown started.
I had a fortified wine and cocktail making session and it was brilliant! We were able to partake as a large group, with plenty of laughter and giggles, along with some great drinks and amazing food pairings. Our host, Bob, was lovely - very knowledgeable, down to earth and great fun. I would highly recommend Tasting Online. In fact, I'm already planning a session for my birthday!
I attended a remote wine tasting session and it was one of the highlights of my 2020 remote social calendar! Well organised, lots of fun, and I discovered new things. I'll definitely attend others in the future, and would recommend without hesitation.
Best wine tasting I've ever been to!
Super delish evening, thanks so much, Bob, we had a blast. Will def repeat a bunch of these.
THE BEST! Highly recommended!
We did this last night and it was brilliant! The most fun we’ve had in ages. The food pairings were a revelation! It’s perfect for a virtual get together with mates, especially if you haven’t seen them in ages. Good times!
Absolutely loved it! Fantastic fun. Feel like my Christmas Day drinks have just gone to another level!
My husband and I had a great evening. Bob is very knowledgeable. I felt I learnt a lot but he explained in a very approachable way.
It was a brilliant night! Great advice, great fun and some fab fortified wines that I would have never thought of drinking before!
I partook in the cocktail making class with a group of friends and Bob was our host. Bob was a perfect host throughout, imparting his serious cocktail knowledge and skills in a fun and accessible way, and managed to direct us all in achieving remarkably professional looking cocktails despite the gradual impairment of our abilities! I couldn’t recommend this more as a perfect way to celebrate an occasion or just catch up with friends. Ideal if you are looking for ways to liven up the now ubiquitous zoom calls. We will be back for more!
Bob is a wonderful host who struck the balance between entertainment and education.
As well as guiding us through the tastings, Bob told us about the production of the wine. It was a fun and informative evening! All in all, we had a great time and would totally recommend a virtual wine tasting with this team. Looking forward to another one soon!
